We made this  to special order for an export customer.  The soundboard is charred with a huge blowlamp,  the Redwood reacts to this better than most timbers, I suspect its the sugars in the wood turning to caramel. It certainly smells nice when it happens. The neck is simple one piece mahogany, with a rosewood heel cap because it don’t look right without one!
